JP GRILLO - Professional Treasure Hunter

Jonathan Grillo "JP" is a professional treasure hunter, metal detector expert, and antiquities recovery specialist. He has been Treasure Hunting for over 40 years and found things that most people only dream of finding. 

As a young boy growing up in the rustic mining town of Paradise, California, JP was fascinated by the lore of finding gold and long lost Spanish mines. He has been hooked since the age of 12 when he borrowed an old VLF metal detector from a friend.

Being a professional treasure hunter has led to a lifetime of research as a private investigator and history detective and has enabled him to build a wealth of knowledge about the latest technology. 

For JP it is all about the thrill of the chase, deciphering clues and walking in the footsteps of the person that hid something several hundred or a thousand years ago. All that is required is proper research, equipment, and the tenacity to see a treasure hunt vision through to the end.
